With the holiday weekend, there wasn’t a whole lot going on last week with the site and the contractor was also waiting on the storm drains and manholes to show up. We swung by the site today and sure enough, there were manholes and pipes!
Site looks pretty much the same as when Molly came except for the manholes and pipes.
I really REALLY want to drive that bulldozer! If they would just leave the keys in there…..
You don’t realize how big these things are until you see them up out of the ground. Should have had John stand next to them, but they were taller than me, probably 6′ tall.
Pipes make for cool shapes. John is hanging out at the other end.
Wooooo, I am the master of the pipes!
So nothing extremely exciting today, but these are those little things you never think of when building a new structure. You need storm drains to catch and direct all the water that falls onto the parking lot. Wish we could go with gravel parking to keep the heat and runoff down, but it’s just not practical with commercial lots.
So this is the next step in the process. Get the storm drains in and then we can move with going up!
