Victoria Stilwell arrives in Alfred, Maine to begin her exploration of State Farm’s arson dog training program. The 8 handlers in the new class arrive from all over the US and describe their expectations, goals and assumptions for the four-week long program. Victoria watches as trainers Mike and Billy help lead trainer Paul Gallagher pair the dogs and handlers based on type, personality and drive.

This 8 part digital series explores how these dogs and their handlers are trained in the field of arson investigation. I served as Post-Production Supervisor, Co-Editor, Motion Graphics Designer and Colorist on this project.

Yoopera! Documentary

“Yoopera!” is a documentary film about a group of people who live in the remote Upper Peninsula of Michigan, affectionately known as yoopers, who commissioned the top librettist and composer in Finland to produce an original opera based on a little-known murder of two Finnish mining immigrants during the early 1900s in Rockland, Michigan.

I served as a Post Production Consultant for the documentary and oversaw the editing and color grading for the trailer.

FOUL WATER / FIERY SERPENT is a documentary film that follows dedicated health workers engaged in a final battle to eradicate a horrific disease in Africa. Through a relentless cycle of successes and failures, facing ignorance and superstition in a vast landscape ravaged by war, the heroes in this story are making medical history in an epic struggle to drive an ancient enemy into extinction. Following the victory against smallpox, Guinea worm is likely to be the next disease in the history of mankind to be eradicated from the Earth.

I served as Producer, Co-Writer, Editor, Colorist and Post-Production Supervisor on this film.

This was a rather challenging project brought to us by Cielo Productions. All shot in India by a local crew shooting all HDV. They did a great job, though some of the video was over exposed and others had color issues.
