THIS is how journalism is supposed to work. An official, a governor in this case, makes a claim. Chuck called him out on it and asked him to validate the claim, which turned out to be false. The governor could not. Bravo Chuck!

Yes, the early 90’s were quite the time at CNN. We were very much a huge family that took a lot of pride in what we were all building. Since the Time Warner takeover, it’s just become more and more corporate driven unfortunately and you just can’t do that with a creative company.

Now, I can’t even remember the last time I switched to this ‘news’network (9/11, or was it the start of the war in Iraq). You hit the nail on the head in your article.
